[HEADLINE: HOW I DESCRIBE MYSELF]
From Angelo Laberinto, a computer engineering student in San Diego
Angelo Laberinto is a computer engineering and computer science student in San Diego who likes understanding software all the way down: embedded systems and hardware, operating systems internals and kernels, compilers and programming languages, and performance, memory, and optimization. He studies at San Diego Miramar College, plans to transfer to San Diego State University in Fall 2027, and works part-time as the Mobile Application Designer at United Through Reading. Outside of tech, he plays trumpet.
About me
I'm Angelo. I'm a computer engineering and computer science student, and what I enjoy most is the low level: how code turns into instructions, how an operating system manages a machine, and how hardware actually runs what we write. I've also played trumpet for a decade, including a DCI World Championship with the Blue Devils in 2019.

My story
[MY STORY: HOW I GOT INTO PROGRAMMING AND LOW-LEVEL SOFTWARE, IN MY OWN WORDS]
Right now I study computer engineering and computer science at San Diego Miramar College, where I took the honors versions of C/C++ Programming, Data Structures and Algorithms, and Java Programming. Next up is transferring to San Diego State University in Fall 2027. I also work part-time as the Mobile Application Designer at United Through Reading.

From the blog
Deep dives on how things work, project build logs, my student and transfer journey, music, and whatever else is on my mind.
What I do
Besides school and work, I help people in a few ways:
- CS tutoring: one-on-one help with Java, Python, C, and C++.
- Software help: building and fixing small projects.
- Trumpet lessons: online lessons built around what you want to play.
